Echoes of Resilience: Unveiling Stories of Devastation, Survival, and Hope

Museum of the White Mountains, 2024

Echoes of Resilience shared the stories of survivors of the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake through artifacts and personal narratives. Organized by the Zeru Foundation with the Museum of the White Mountains, the exhibition featured panel and promotional design by Eddy, who shaped a visual language that amplified themes of resilience, grief, and hope.

APPROACH: Since the first thing visitors saw upon entering the exhibit would be a banner made of fabrics crafted by survivors, Eddy used fabric textures as a unifying visual element across the exhibit panels. This included a fabric overlay on major typography and graphics, creating a cohesive look and tactile feel. A map was also incorporated to provide geographical context and inform the overall color palette.
