Bene Hospitality was a medical apparel brand created by Eddy as his senior capstone project, designed to support the mental health and wellness of nurses. Inspired by his mother, a nurse, the brand aimed to uplift healthcare workers through scrubs printed with motivational messages.
The brand identity grew from the Latin word bene, meaning “good” or “well,” with the letter “B” becoming its visual anchor. Eddy developed a system that was both soothing and whimsical, using a refined color palette, approachable typography, and soft graphic motifs to balance professionalism with warmth. To extend the identity, Eddy designed posters, letterheads, and marketing collateral, culminating in merchandise prototypes. The highlight was a line of scrubs displayed on a mannequin during the senior exhibition, turning the brand’s mission into a tangible experience. Bene Hospitality showed how thoughtful design can provide both function and encouragement for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
